Fantasio is the aftermath, the ultimate souvenir of a secret live performance by Twin Automat. Irini Karayannopoulou and Sandrine Cheyrol performed, in their Athens studio, a durational abstract theater of shadows, using overhead projectors,  3d objects, transparencies and cut outs. The raw footage of this improvisational performance was edited in an animated film named Fantasio (Prelude). The duo recently revisited this material and completed a new version of the film, entitled Fantasio Revisited. Sound artist Yannis Saxonis composed the original sountrack of this animation, using modular synthesizers. The work was never exhibited in public and is available to view upon request.
